Large Ancient Egyptian Faience and Ancient Glass Beads, from Egypt - Rita Okrent Collection (AG275c)A mixed blue, green and beige strand of large ancient glass and faience beads from Egypt. Pre 1200 A. D. (likely much older). Egyptian has a long history of glass and faience bead making. When treated with a tiny bit of olive oil, the beige beads become a lovely subtle green. 24 inches of beads. Bead sizes range from 9 20mm diameter. 80 beads on strand. Beads have wear commensurate with age. Lots to work with on this lovely strand! Ancient Glass Item
