Antique Handmade Interlocking Silver Beaded Necklace from Ceylon - Sri Lanka - Rita Okrent Collection (C973)An antique silver wearable snake chain necklace with 7 intricate interlocking beads, and a woven silver snake chain. Was likely originally used as a belt. Age: Circa late 1800's to Early 1900's Condition: Worn, some beads dented, uneven oxidization. Otherwise good condition. Approximately 90% silver content. Provenance: Sourced in the mid 1970's in Sri Lanka. Measurements: 32 inches 81 cm long. Woven snake chain portion measures 25 inches 63 cm.
