Stockman's Tasmanian Poppy (500+ seeds)This is a new Tasmanian strain that was sent to us by our dear customer and late friend, Joshua Stockman, a US military veteran from Illinois Just days before he passed, Josh mailed me a box containing his entire collection of poppy seeds that he had amassed over the years and these Tasmanian seeds were in there. I don't know the origin of them, they were just labelled "Tasmanian". We normally only grow Izmir poppies, as we just think their genetics

if I could only grow one variety of poppy

before we went to work on isolating and breeding the phenotypes we liked best

And it already naturally produces less seeds

barrel-shaped pods full of bright-white seeds

All in all

The yield is average with these producing medium sized pods

The pods are shaped like Lauren's Grape but bigger and thicker like the Pink Cloud

We grow our Afghans on a separate property

This Tasmanian is very robust

The flowers of this beautiful poppy range from all different shades of pinks and purples to white with a purple centre

and in approximately 6-7 weeks
