Woven Antique Indian Brass Bead Necklace from the African Trade - Rita Okrent Collection (AT0709)Handmade brass cornerless cube beads woven into a necklace belt. The beads are from Orissa Provence in Northern India and are estimated to be 200+ years old (early to mid 1800's). Provenance: This treasure came to Rita's collection via the African traders she worked with in the 1980's. It still has Rita's handwritten identification tag attached. Condition: Very good. Weaving together of beads is holding well. Could be worn as is or turned into a
