Vintage Nubian Silver Disc Amulet, Egypt - Rita Okrent Collection (P154b)A mid 20th century silver amulet with a lot of wear, sourced by Rita in the 1980's in Cairo. Very collectible. Originally from the Sudan (Nubia). Circa 1950's or earlier. Sourced in the 1970's. Coin silver silver mix. 1. 8" (4. 7 cm) across. No bail. Will need to have bail attached or be pierced. Damage at edge. Priced accordingly. Similar to amulets seen in reference text, "The Traditional Jewelry of Egypt" (Azza Fahmy) and the text "Silberschmuck
