Possibly originally from a bazuband. Bazubands are traditional forearm and elbow armor, originating in the late Middle Ages. Circa early to mid 1900s. Purchased in the Middle East in the 1980's. Measures 2 inches (51mm) wide (not including bails) and 2. 6 inches (67 mm) tall.
