Pinned Copper Earrings

Pinned Copper EarringsYall know how much I love putting sterling pins in everything I make. And I havent added any new designs incorporating that lately so I thought Id change that. These mixed metal earrings are perfect. A little tough. A little artsy. And they can go with you anywhere. These are really lightweight and can be dressed up or down. I used a quarter for scale. Approximately 2. 25 long.

And the length from the top of the ear wire down to the bottom of the earring is 3”

So these billiard pieces are me coming full circle

The cuff is hand textured

But when I started fabricating it I felt like it was missing something

This is a super fun combo of all these new things I’m playing around with

I constructed this from sterling silver

And it was also made thinking about that movie from the 80’s “Short Circuit”

They are made from 100% pure copper that I have oxidized

5 inches long

The image of a crying heart is used a lot in tattooing to represent the loss of a loved one
