Habitat: This form is native to the Sonoran Desert in south-central Arizona

growing up to 12 cm tall and 10 cm wide

It is a spineless variety of Gymnocalycium

up to 5 cm in diameter

This also gives better chance at flowers in spring

Temperature: Prefers temperatures between 60°F and 85°F
