Bodley Low Mass SetThe Bodley range takes inspiration from one of our founders, George Frederick Bodley. The vestments feature a bold orphrey design reminiscent of his flair for Gothic Revival patterns and eye for colour, aptly linking to Watts & Co.'s architectural roots. The main fabric is our 'Davenport' damask, designed by Bodley after an Italian Renaissance pattern, most famously seen in Hans Holbein the Younger's 'The Ambassadors' painting. Our Processional Cross is available in silver plate or polished brass and in an adult or youth size

with Old Gold Diamond & Lay fringe on the lappets

Based upon 19th Century continental damasks

It is lined in a gold cotton sateen and features two embroidered crosses

both in art and vestments

The stoles are made with a gold cotton sateen lining and a woven orphrey braid

The original copes featured velvet embroidered with beautiful goldwork embroidery

Our 'Fleur de Lys' fabric is woven in England from silk and lumiyarn threads and we are pleased to offer it in two colours

Dimensions : 110 cm x 50 cm (approximately 43" x 20")

and is trimmed with a gold hand-knotted fringe wrapped in blue thread

our 'Stag' fabric originated as a 14th-century pattern and contains the Wilton Diptych's depiction of a tethered stag with a crown round its neck (a heraldic sign of Richard II)
