With 210 Nm of torque measured at the rear tire (standard Typhoon 4.0) you can be sure the Typhoon will get you to the top of the hill without any drama, and best of all- you can ride any time of the day since the Typhoon is nearly silent!
No more waking up the neighbors for your late night adrenaline rush. The Typhoon 4.0, 5,0 and 6.0 are based out their respective electrical output in kW. The 4.0 outputs slightly more than 4,000W, and the 5.0 outputs 5,000W and so on.
Our fastest and most powerful Typhoon 7.0 (over 9 electric hp) is an absolute rocket and provides tremendous acceleration.
The HPC Typhoon is the most robust and heavy duty offroad electric mountain bike we currently produce. All Typhoons climb hills very well, but as you move up in power levels, you get better hill climbing and more range capability.
The Typhoon features a very high quality RockShox Boxxer Select dual crown 200mm travel forks, a Rockshox Vivid R2C rear shock with over 8" of frame travel, a cane creek 40 series headset, Truvativ descendent direct mount stem, and the phenomenal Magura MT5 brakes, all standard!
