This SG 500 weighs 4kg's and is built with an agathis body with a maple cap, slim 60's mahogany neck and a rosewood fretboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width, 12" radius). Loaded with the original Yamaha branded tuners and tune o matic bridge, this one has the original G III humbucker pickups and appears

these were also factory loaded with two Jackson USA humbuckers controlled by a 3-way selector and volume/tone knobs

Loaded with Fernandes VH-4/VH-6 humbuckers and a Head Crasher locking tremolo system

The second version used a pair of Dual Op-Amps such as the famous JRC4558

bass boost/cut and treble boost/cut knobs (treble knob seems to have little effect on the signal though)
