Pugin High Mass Set

Pugin High Mass SetOur Pugin Gothic range is made in our exclusive Alton fabric, based on a design by Augustus Pugin. This fabric came to us from a Pugin vestment from St Augustine's Abbey, Ramsgate, and this range is complimented by a re weaving of an original Pugin orphrey braid. This design reflects Pugin's 14th and 15th century influences both in England and the Low Countries. The vestments are lined in cotton sateen. The High Mass Set comprises the following:

The silk and cotton blend and weave of the fabric create the illusion that the flowers are bursting out of the design

For the gold plate and brass option the pole is in a light wood and for silver plate the pole is ebonized mahogany unless requested otherwise

featuring a Green Gothic silk orphrey

The outline orphreys used in this range are made from the highest quality gold metallic braid which complements the pattern perfectly

and is lined in a gold cotton sateen
