作、繪者簡介三浦太郎 Taro Miura一九六八年出生於日本愛知縣。大阪藝術大學美術系畢業後開始當插畫家。繪本作品《小小國王》曾獲日本產經兒童出版文化獎美術獎；其他作品有「車子工作中」系列、「寶寶的第一套成長紀錄繪本」系列、《巴士出發囉！》系列，和《猩猩爹地》、《爸爸，來騎馬！》、《耶誕老公公的紅手套》、《蔬果來泡澡》、《蔬果戴帽子》等（以上皆由小魯文化出版）。曾入選波隆納國際繪本原畫展，繪本也被翻譯成瑞士、義大利、西班牙等多國語言，作品深受世界各地孩子們的歡迎。
