Mid century brown leather and brass floor lampThis is a very stylish mid 20th century brass and leather floor lamp. The shade is silk and original to the piece. It has got light areas of damage but this can be turned away from the front and then you will have a clean shade. Or you can of course replace it. All wired and good to go with the lamp in particularly good condition. Great proportions as well. Height 164cm Diameter of shade 46cm Diameter base 28cm

They are a wonderful smaller than average size giving them the ability to be used in a number of different ways

There is an element of collage with this as well as the fish has been stuck over one another

Seat pads are good but would benefit from re upholstery which we can of course do for you

The condition overall is superb with minor age related marks but not major issues

It is a fitted seat currently but we can add a seat cushion if you prefer

The best detail for me however is the banded detail around the top but also set into the vertical curved edge of the table top again all the way around

The top can also slide forward allowing for it be used as a writing table

Its very hard to date as it has been re stretchered but 18th/19th century I believe
