Hardy Perfect 4" wide drum fly reel with 1906 checkFor sale here is a beautiful 4" wide drum Hardy Perfect salmon fly reel with 1906 check and nickel silver line guide. RHW only. Much of the original leading remains. Gear teeth and pawl are still very sharp and the tensioner (with Turks locking nut) works great throughout its range. No wobble or end play to speak of. Ivorine handle spins freely. Stamped "2" throughout. Smooth brass foot is full length and unfiled. Reasonable offers considered.

The rod overall is in very good original condition with the exception of one tip being broken 1 3/4" from the tip top

The rod comes with two different tips lengths
"At 8'3" and a #4 line
On short notice we had to use a point-and-shoot camera for these instead of our usual professional set up
Mint/unfished condition with original reel pouches for both frame and spool
The ferrules sizes are 17/64 and 11/64 and the ferrule fit is good
