Pentagonal construction. As explained by Mario, "Perhaps the best all around 3 line fly rod. For delicate fishing with fine tippets." Semi parabolic action, very light in hand. Medium flamed cane, translucent caramel silk wraps. Oxidized hardware. Truncated super Z style ferrules. Dual ring reel seat over a cypress wood

One or two of the silk wraps may be replacements but generally all of the wraps appear age-appropriate
The rod is in excellent used condition with normal wear
The ferrules are 11/64 and 18/64 and the ferrule fit is Baginski-tight
Fine tips and small hoop tip-tops round out this beauty
