Four Brothers / Pflueger Delite Fly Reel - 40 ydFor sale here is a very rare size 40yd Four Brothers (Pflueger) "Delite" fly reel. Very good condition. Inspired by Julius Vom Hofe styled reels, the Four Brothers "Delite" reel has hard rubber side plates, an ivoroid balanced handle, and nickel plated brass rims and other parts. It's really hard to find one with the majority of the nickel plating still in place. As you can see from the photos, the reel in this set retains most of its original nickel

Reel is in excellent++ condition with a few small marks on the rims and reel foot

the farmer marks and node spacing suggest that this was put together with "B"quality blanks

it's in fine working condition

The action is classic glass - medium and very smooth

the script remains clean and bold though the serial number on the butt is half worn off
