The wine starts off slowly and subtly
The mid-palate of the broad-shouldered flavors is pliant yet intense and muscular while the driving finish possesses breathtakingly good depth and persistence on the imposingly structured but not really rigid or unduly austere finale
There is good muscle and punch to the broad-shouldered and attractively textured flavors that conclude in a firm and mildly austere finish that delivers excellent persistence
but by no means is it as impressive as the other three efforts from Ann Colgin and her husband
which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Rutherford AVA

a sui generis
Two wines that I did not see from bottle have turned out to be close to perfection
which is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and usually produces small quantities of less than 300 cases
made from grapes grown by David Abreu at his estate vineyards in Napa
Interestingly this is actually a bit more aromatically elegant with its super fresh nose of red cherry
