The Community MosaicThe Community Mosaic, inspired by the fish head logo of Pompano Beach, was made largely by the Pompano public. Eric Newcombe, aka Marbles, aka Post Relative, brought the piece to community markets, fairs and events, and set up tables with random objects, paints, scissors, tools, and varying adhesives so that the community could do literally whatever they felt like doing to it. Most put love and attentive care into the piece; some were rather abusive.
