Griffith ObservatoryThis is my second tribute to the Griffith Observatory. I very rarely draw the same place twice, but this view was simply too iconic to ignore. It was inspired by the scene in Rebel Without a Cause where James Dean has his knife fight, I wanted to capture that small, atmospheric spot, and it naturally evolved into this sequel print. I remember just hanging around the area

It was so surreal to be surrounded by rows of empty seats steeped in so much talent and history

I’ve also always been fond of cinemas that stay true to the magic of going to see a movie

I just had to capture it in a print

Looking back now

and it’s one of my favourite prints to reflect on as the years have passed

it had been on my bucket list for years

and I couldn’t help but imagine the stories those walls must hold

Although some people call In-N-Out overrated (I strongly disagree)

played a part in kickstarting so many of the careers of your favourite artists

It’s the ultimate tourist spot in LA
