40's Satin Silk Silvery Violet Rhinestone Buttoned Shirt Dress by C Crawford Hollidge CompanyThis satin silk dress is from the 1940s. Made for the C Crawford Hollidge Company out of the Boston, MA area. This dress is a shirt dress, silvery violet in color, and decorated down the center of the bodice with its original brass buttons with icy rhinestone centers. This dress originally came with a matching belt, but it has been lost through the ages. I have fashioned a new belt out of a black velvet ribbon, and attached it to a vintage style, gold
the only thing I'd note is there are a couple of threads coming from buttons and sleeve hem
