Combine 2 oz Xicaru Silver Mezcal, 1 oz fresh lime juice, 1 oz agave nectar, and a dash of orange bitters in a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a salt-rimmed glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Production Notes

Xicaru Silver Mezcal is made from 100% agave Espadin, grown and harvested in Oaxaca, Mexico. The agave hearts, or piñas, are roasted in an underground pit oven with mesquite and ocote wood, giving the mezcal its signature smoky flavor. The piñas are then crushed and fermented with wild yeast before being double distilled in copper pot stills.
