Looking at this genuine instrument panel from a McDonnell F-4 Phantom II fighter, you can almost hear the roar of the jet's mighty engines. The two-place, all-weather F-4 Phantom II twinjet, which first flew in 1958, had a top speed more than twice that of sound. It was one of the most versatile fighters ever built, serving in the first line of more Western air forces than any other jet. The F-4 is remembered today as the quintessential American fighter. Our craftspeople carefully removed instruments from a retired F-4, inspected, cleaned, and polished them, and set them into a custom housing made from plasma-cut 11-gauge hot rolled steel. The housing was hand polished and coated with a vintage-look smoke-tinted clear powder finish. The matching base was machined to resemble airplane skin, complete with rivets. This handsome piece is a fitting tribute to a legendary plane. A Custom Hangar plaque is affixed to the display, and a Certificate of Authenticity is included. Measures approximately 11.5"L x 8.5"W x 8"H. Weighs approximately 15 lb. Made in U.S.A. *NOTE: This artifact is sold as is with no guarantee that parts maintain original function. Delicious! I was worried it would be too spicy but while it is definitely spicy it is not so much so that it is unpleasant. Just enough to keep me from overindulging - a few pieces at a time is just right.

To get to the point, this jerky is too soft and moist. Impressively tender actually. The sweetness and heat are nothing special, but you do get 1lb of jerky that is easy to snack on. For that, I have to give it at least 3/5. There are a ton of jerkys with better taste and texture that are definitely more expensive, but if you happen to like a super tender jerky with underwhelming flavors, then this is a good value.

Not your average sundried roadkill 😋

Ok , so just don't look at the price. Think of it like this - go buy 3lbs of quality beef at the store , spices, gas to drive there , dry it down to 1 lb and you'll spend just as much . This is'nt gobble down stuff , its more of a special treat like a glass of fine scotch. Cudos to the lady with the review 'more mango than hot'. This is a tender quality jerky with a really good flavor and a nice balance of sweet n spicey, not burn your face off. It's really tender and the first thing I noticed was that it didn't get stuck in my teeth .... AT ALL. Even my own home made jerky that I trim up six ways to sunday gets stuck in my teeth. It's very tender , I think some folks mistake sticky sugary corn syrup gooped up roadkill for 'moist' . This is actually mostly just MEAT with a good moisture content and it was very yummy 👍
