Full Gothic Chasuble in Green 'Bellini' with Gold/Blue/Purple 'Comper Strawberry' OrphreysA Full Gothic Chasuble with matching stole, made using our exclusive Green 'Bellini' Silk and featuring 'Comper Strawberry' orphreys of Gold Blue Purple. The orphreys and hem of the chasuble are edged in 1 2" Bellini Blue 'Diamond & Lay' braid. Please note that this sample was a 'one off' piece.
This antique stole is hand-embroidered onto white silk
as well as in lustrous gilt combinations
Also includes a matching stole
This fabric also formed part of the portfolio that was submitted c
Additional matching vestments are available as part of our Davenport stock vestment range
The stole ends are trimmed with Old Gold 2" Rayon fringe
It is available in a large variety of Bodley colours
the former being responsible for naming some of our fabrics in reference to Old Masters
the motif incorporates wild birds
featuring 3 gold appliqué crosses couched down in Japanese Gold Thread
