Weir & Sons Bamboo Rod 7'6" 2/2 #5For sale here is a Weir & Sons bamboo rod 7'6 2 2 for a 5 weight. Rod is in excellent + original condition. Made in 1976. Full intermediate wraps. Nice medium action with rod flexing into the grip. Chubby 5 1 2" grip. Brushed aluminum reel seat hardware. There are some glue lines and marks present where the flats are adjoined, as is typical on most of their rods. Size 13 ferrules. Weighs 3. 7 oz. Good ferrule fit. Original bag and tube. Rod also comes
intended to match the serial number of this rod
Although not labeled I believe it is a hair wing version of the venerable Jock Scott
